“We’re losing this for sure” – Some Spurs fans react to Aurier red card

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on social media after Serge Aurier was sent off against Southampton.

He was cautioned twice in the space of 4 minutes and twenty five seconds which has seen Spurs reduced to ten men for the next hour of the match.

Aurier was firstly booked for a nasty scissors tackle and was then shown his second yellow card for bringing down Ryan Bertrand.

The Spurs players protested to the referee as they felt the ball had gone out of play just before the incident.

The 26-year-old cut a lonely figure as he walked off the pitch to the Spurs dressing room but he needs to start learning from these foolish errors, the first yellow card was totally unavoidable.

Tanguy Ndombele had earlier put Spurs ahead with a left-footed finish only for Hugo Lloris to gift them an equaliser.

Moussa Sissoko has since dropped back to slot into the right-back berth to cover for Aurier.
