WSL preview: West Ham face fierce rivals Spurs and Arsenal tipped for title
ALISHA LEHMANN wants West Ham to turn London claret.
The Hammers face capital rivals Tottenham today in their first Women’s Super League game at the London Stadium.
Around 20,000 fans are expected to watch the derby — which would make it the third highest crowd in WSL history.
Swiss striker Lehmann said: “This is a special game. It’s a London derby and I want London to be claret after it’s done.
“I’m really excited. It’s a big thing for us. Everyone wants to play in big stadiums and this is our home stadium, so it couldn’t be better.
“Tottenham played well against Chelsea and they have some good players but we have a better team.”
Both sides have a win and a defeat in the WSL this season.
Spurs won their last meeting 7-0 in 2017.

“Arsenal are the best team in the league, those bigger clubs strengthen every year.
“They have that capacity to do that.”

BRISTOL CITY v CHELSEA
Chelsea, who suffered a shock draw at Brighton in their last WSL game, will be fired up against Bristol City.
The Blues thrashed the Robins 6-0 back in February — thanks to hat-tricks from Fran Kirby and Bethany England.
But Bristol City warmed up for this clash with a 3-0 FA Continental Cup win over London Bees last week.

The Royals visit on the back of a 2-0 WSL defeat to Manchester City.
They last met fighting for a spot in the FA Cup quarter- finals last season with Reading winning 2-1.

Table-topping Toffees host second-place Manchester City in a mouth-watering showdown.
