Former Premier League winner Ian Wright has heaped praise on Liverpool centre back Joel Matip for his performance against Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Cameroon international produced another solid effort at the heart of the Reds defence, as the European champions laboured to a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane. Wright was particularly impressed by the 28-year-old.
