FOODIES struggling to decide between a burger and pizza should pop by Tesco for a tasty new treat.
The supermarket has rolled out mini bolognese pizzas that can be used to create a burger.
The pizzas come topped with a tomato sauce, mozzarella, cooked beef and roasted onions.
Simply eat them as they are or place two of them together to make your burger – perfect if you’re looking for a quick snack.
Each pack includes four pizzas weighing a total of 268g. They’re available in Tesco stores and online for £1.70.
The treats were first spotted by a foodie in the Snack Reviews Facebook group, who wrote: “Really nice either microwave (soft bun) or oven for a crisper bun.
“Had them for my tea two nights, for times when you don’t know what to eat and need something quick!”
Other Facebook users are also keen to nab the pizza burgers as one said: “We need to give these a go.”
While another added: “Gotta admit I really liked these too! Taste delicious.”
And a third one asked her friend: “Why does this meal solve our entire date debate????”
The frozen pizzas are best enjoyed after 10-12 minutes in the oven, or you can pop them in the microwave for up to two minutes.
If you’re keeping a close eye on your waistline, you’ll want to know that two pizzas (one burger) contains 381 calories.
We couldn’t find any similar products in the UK’s other major supermarkets, but Asda has previously sold a cheeseburger pizza.
