Cochise Soccer Tie with Paradise Valley

On Saturday, September 28, the Cochise College Women’s Soccer team traveled to Paradise Valley for conference play. Previously, Paradise Valley beat the Apaches at home 2-1, but the ladies battled hard in the heat. Both teams went into the second half scoreless, but with many chances. Paradise Valley scored first in the 69th minute of play. Sophomore Leticia Seabra evened the score in the 80th minute off a free kick outside of the penalty area. After double overtime, the Apaches went home with a tie at Paradise Valley. Cochise 1, Paradise Valley, 1. Cochise will travel to Phoenix again on Thursday to face Chandler-Gilbert.
