Aiming for label expansion, Merck touts new trial results for antibiotic Recarbrio

Merck's new antibiotic Recarbrio won its first FDA nod in July. Now, thanks to new trial results in two types of severe pneumonia, it's eyeing another approval—and in the same indication its fellow Merck infection fighter Zerbaxa just won.
