McClure wins player of the month

Congratulations to Matt McClure who has won the Shepherd Neame September Player of the Month prize.

The Stones forward registered five goals and one assist in a month that was rounded off with a memorable trio of goals against St Albans City – the first league hat trick to be scored by a Maidstone player at the Gallagher Stadium.

George Elokobi was voted into second place, while our August winner Dan Wishart rounded off the top three.

The award was presented by Shepherd Neame’s Dougie Dick.
