CORSICA has launched a terror probe after anti-French separatists threatened a return to violence in the region if they do not secure greater independence from mainland France. Corsican police launched a counter-terrorism investigation on Tuesday after a newly-formed nationalist group threatened to carry out “violent” actions if their demands for greater independence from mainland France were not met.
