New DOJ investigation into 2018 game
Short version:
DOJ has indicted a Columbo crime family mobster in NY for trying to fix a game in 2018. I haven't found the DOJ link to the case yet and this article doesn't mention which schools are involved.
However, In this article the name Varez Ward pops up in reference to a game fixing attempt. Ward was arrested. I seem to remember this happening but for some reason it never got posted here. Ward was a commit to UC under Cronin before issues forced him to stay home in Texas. He later transferred to Auburn. This is where the game fixing attempt came in.
