FRENCH eurosceptic Florian Philippot on Sunday praised Boris Johnson’s determination to take the UK out of the EU by the October 31 deadline, saying that the prime minister’s popularity had been boosted by his efforts to break the Brexit impasse. The prime minister has repeatedly said that Britain will exit the bloc on October 31 and that he would rather be “dead in a ditch” than ask Brussels for another extension.
