Danny Murphy insists Spurs star will not abandon ship

There is no getting away from the fact that there are the makings of a full-blown crisis at Tottenham at the moment.

As expected, the usual suspects in the media have already started actively endorsing many of Tottenham’s top players to Europe’s biggest clubs.

Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport recently that Harry Kane has to leave Tottenham if he is ambitious enough to win trophies. Former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder Danny Murphy has now refuted Ferdinand and suggested that Kane would not like to leave the club with a bitter taste in his mouth.

He insisted that the England captain will repay the faith that the club have showed in him and help them turn their fortunes around.
