European Leagues boss Olsson says transfer window closing needs to be aligned
October 9 – The European summer transfer window should close at the same time everywhere as used to be the case, according to the head of the European Leagues.
Two years ago, the early summer close of the English transfer window was introduced to minimise squad disruption at the start of the season. This summer the Premier League window closed on August 8, whereas France, Germany and Italy closed theirs on September 2.
