Yahya Abdul-Mateen II In Talks for 'Matrix 4' Lead Role

Aquaman‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is in talks for a leading role in the upcoming Matrix 4.

The 33-year-old actor is reportedly the front runner to join Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the film. Keanu and Carrie-Anne are set to reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity in the film. It was announced several months ago that the movie is a go.

Director Lana Wachowski had been meeting with actors for the secret role, Variety reports. Yahya emerged as the front runner in recent days!

Production is set to begin on the film in early 2020.
