Days after 49 celebrities were booked for sedition for writing a letter to PM Narendra Modi expressing anguish over rising incidents of mob lynching, the Muzaffarpur police on Wednesday recommended closure of the case against them. Muzaffarpur SSP wrote to Bihar Police headquarters recommending the case closure and seeking action against the petitioner for providing false information.
