Euro 2020 Qualifying
Date: Thurs. Oct. 10 – Tues. Oct 15 TV Channel: TUDN Live Stream: fuboTV (watch for free)Belgium is one of four teams in qualifying with a 100 percent record—one of three who have played six matches—and they face San Marino in what could be a blowout on Thursday.
Russia trails the Red Devils by three points in Group I, but San Marino will be hard-pressed to prevent the joint-highest scoring team in qualifying (19 goals) from clinching another three points.
Nations League champions the Netherlands also return to qualifying on Thursday and host Northern Ireland hoping to move level on points with Michael O’Neill’s side. Each team has lost once in Group C already, and the visitors travel to De Kuip in Rotterdam hoping to keep pace with pool leaders Germany in what’s been a surprisingly resilient run thus far.
Gareth Southgate’s England returns to the spotlight on Friday and is hosted by the Czech Republic at the Sinobo Stadium in Prague. The Three Lions boast a three-point advantage over their Czech hosts at the Group A summit, and the right set of results this weekend could see them move clear by six.
The same goes for Group B leaders Ukraine, who are five points ahead of Portugal—albeit having played a game more than the European champions—and host Lithuania with a chance to increase that gap.
That pair are primed for what’s shaping up to be a winner-take-all encounter at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev on Monday, but Portugal will face Luxembourg at home before then.
Elsewhere, Italy will attempt to keep up their perfect run through Group J when they host Greece on Saturday when Spain makes the trip to Norway seeking their seventh win in as many Group F games.
