Avengers star Jeremy Renner ‘threatened suicide with gun in mouth during drug and booze-fuelled rage’

AVENGERS star Jeremy Renner “put a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill himself” in a drink and drug-fuelled rage, court documents have claimed.

The 48-year-old actor is also accused of firing a gun into the ceiling while his daughter Ava was sleeping in her bedroom.

He also talked about killing his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, according to legal papers lodged in LA by the Canadian actress and model.

The couple split in 2014 after 10 months of marriage and are embroiled in a bitter legal battle — with Ms Pacheco wanting sole custody of Ava, six.

New documents claim her ex was at a club last November and “began talking about killing his wife”.

Ms Pacheco alleges he told someone he “could not deal with her anymore, and just wanted her gone”.

Their child’s nanny also allegedly overheard Renner — who played superhero Hawkeye in the Marvel movies — say he was going to kill his ex and then himself.

She claimed he said: “It was better that Ava had no parents than to have (Sonni) as a mother.”

The papers state: “Jeremy put a gun in his mouth, threatened to kill himself, and fired the gun into the ceiling while Ava was asleep in her bedroom.”

Ms Pacheco claimed The Avengers: Endgame star had a history of drug use plus verbal and emotional abuse.

He is alleged to have left cocaine on a bathroom counter which was within Ava’s reach.

The papers also said several women came to his house, including “Tayler, Kelley, Natalie, Summer, Faith, Christina, Naz and Jessica”.

A spokesman for the actor said: “The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy.

“This is a matter for the court to decide. It’s important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind.”
