Stacey Dooley throws boyfriend Kevin Clifton an epic birthday dinner party as he turns 37
STACEY Dooley pulled out all the stops for her boyfriend Kevin Clifton after throwing him a luxurious dinner party for his 37th birthday party on Saturday.
The journalist, 32 – who found love with professional dancer Kevin after winning Strictly Come Dancing together last year – posted snaps of the party on her Instagram.
The presenter hugged her hunky boyfriend in the posts, captioning them: “Happy birthday King Kev” and “37”.
Kevin and Stacey first announced their romance in April, though the pair grew close during their time on the BBC dancing competition.
Stacey split with her long term boyfriend, Sam Tucknott, shortly after winning the Glitterball.
Kevin and Stacey reportedly moved in with each other in May after leaving the home she shared with her former partner in Brighton.
The professional dancer probably needed some birthday cheer after being kicked out of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing last week.
Judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood unanimously voted to save David James instead of Kevin and his partner Anneka Rice.
The dancer was reportedly furious after being paired with Anneka – and believed he was being punished by BBC bosses over his romance with Stacey.
A source told The Sun: “Kevin has told pals he would have preferred someone like Catherine Tyldesley or Alex Scott.

“He calls himself King Kevin and he wanted to make Strictly history by winning back-to-back titles.
“But although Anneka is willing, her age and agility means he won’t be able to throw her around like he did previous partners.
“Kevin thinks Anneka is great on a personal level but beleives people at the top are putting the boot in for the fallout from his relationship with Stacey.”
He later took to Twitter to brand the claims as “ridiculous”.
Both of the dancers will be putting their dancing shoes back on for the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 arena tour.
The 32-date tour will see a selection of celebrities and professional dancers from across the 17 seasons.
