A10 Weekly Awards
...first congrats to Jamie for her 4th award this season. She and Sr MB Jasmine Sneed from VCU are the leading candidates for POY right now. Both are playing well.
Second, Amelia should have been honored as ROW. She had a very good week. Hit .464 over 2 matches. Only had ONE hitting error in 28 swings. Also put up 7 blocks - averaging 1.2 per set. Her hitting percentage is hard to do. Her blocks were a solid performance. Together it was her best showing to-date as a Flyer.
They gave it to LaSalles Libero Hess. She averaged 5.1 digs per set. A very solid weekend. They should have given co-ROW honors. Both deserved it.
