5 new interstellar foods bound for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland
Frequent travelers to the Black Spire Outpost village on the Star Wars planet of Batuu will soon find an intergalactic shipment arriving with five new menu items destined for the Galaxy’s Edge themed land at Disneyland.
The restaurants, bars and food stands in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Anaheim theme park will begin serving a charcuterie plate, plant-based burgers and sausages, pork rinds and chocolate popcorn on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Oga’s Cantina spaceport cocktail bar will expand its limited menu to feature the Happabore Sampler charcuterie plate that includes cured meats, artisan cheeses, pickled vegetables and crackers.
The Docking Bay 7 counter-service restaurant will update its kids menu with the Garden Patty Bun — a plant-based burger on a bao bun with roasted carrots on the side and an orange.
Ronto Roasters will introduce a Garden Wrap to the menu that swaps out the spicy Portuguese-style sausage for a plant-based sausage with spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber and Gochujang spread on pita bread. The outdoor food stand will also offer Kyryll pork rinds with cinnamon sugar served in a souvenir mouse droid container.
Over in the Black Spire marketplace, Kat Saka’s Kettle will offer a new flavor: Chocolate popcorn with Crait red salt.
Beginning on Oct. 21, Disney will extend its current reservation period for Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers and Droid Depot from 14 days to 60 days.
