‘Controlling’ Kanye West slammed by furious Kim Kardashian fans after he tells her what to wear to the Met Gala
KIM Kardashian fans are raging after Kanye West complained her Met Gala dress was too sexy.
The KUWTK star, 38, rowed with the rapper the night before wearing the skin-tight Thierry Mugler wet-look dress to the event in May.
The heated discussion, which played out on the E! reality show, didn’t go down well with fans, who branded Kanye, 42, “controlling.”
One wrote on Twitter: “I’m so confused by this whole Kanye being uncomfortable with Kim’s sexiness s*** like he’s literally the one that boosted her self confidence and pushed her to be more provocative and now it’s too much??? Controlling af.”
Another said: ” I’ve never realised how controlling Kanye is with Kim until this weeks episode… I’m not impressed.”
A third commented: “I actually have nothing against Kanye but he acts childish and can’t accept when he’s wrong. This god complex he has going on need to be re evaluated. He loved Kim for who she was and now he wants to change her?”
During the episode, the hit-maker told Kim: “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.
“The corset, the underwear, all that vibe, I just feel like. I just went through this transition where from being a rapper, looking at all these girls…looking at my wife – [thinking] ‘My girl needs to be just like all the other girls and showing her body off, showing this, showing that’.”
“I didn’t realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved and the father – now of about to be four kids,” he told Kim, who sat on the sofa on her cellphone.
Kanye continued: “The corset, it’s a form of underwear – it’s hot but hot for who?”
Kim, who had spent the day having fittings for the outfit which included a very structured corset, told Kanye that he was not helping her nerves ahead of the event.
“The night before the Met you’re going to come in here and say you’re not into a corset body?” Kim asked him.
“I don’t need any more negative energy for you to now say that you’re not into me wearing a tight dress,” she told him.
Kanye responded: “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”
“You built me up to be this sexy person and confidence and all this stuff. And just because you’re on a journey and you’re on your transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you,” Kim told her husband of five years.
The Gold Digger hitmaker stormed off, saying, “OK, alright. Cool.”
She muttered to herself, “That’s absolutely ridiculous.”
The figure hugging custom design, which was made to give the effect of dripping water, turned heads at the camp-themed earlier this year.

Kim’s dress was so tight she admitted she was prepared to pee on herself instead of going to the bathroom.
“If I have to pee, it’s a problem,” she told a group of her friends on the show.
“Honestly, if it’s an emergency, I think I pee my pants and then have my sister wipe my leg up.
“I’m not even joking. She can wipe my leg up.”
