Over at Sports Illustrated, Jeremy Woo has a piece up considering what Zion Williamson has accomplished - in the preseason of his rookie year.

Stop and think about that for a second.

It’s a striking piece that looks at the hype surrounding Williamson and how he has so far managed to exceed it.

What’s interesting to us, us being Duke fans and those who watched him closely last year, is how people are surprised. It’s not really a surprise to people who paid close attention. The guy is special, as Dick Vitale likes to say.

Another way that he’s special - and Woo touches on this - is that he does what he does without disrupting the team. Woo didn't really get into this but one of his best qualities is how he has a positive affect on team chemistry. We’re starting to see this now with Lonzo Ball with whom Williamson has developed a nice chemistry.
