IMF lowers Russia’s 2019 GDP growth forecast
MOSCOW – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts GDP growth for Russia at 1.1 percent in 2019 in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO).
This is 0.1 of a percentage point below the forecast given in the July WEO.
The IMF’s forecast for Russian GDP growth in 2020 is unchanged at 1.7 percent.
