Legal eagles....
So I had artificial lawn installed a month ago. At the time I wasn’t happy with the finish of the joins but naively believed the fitter when he assured me once the joins weathered they would be hardly noticeable. Well a month in and there has been no improvement and I’ve now found out he didn’t finstall a frame so the edges are held in place by staples.
I’ve raised my concerns with the fitter and he maintains the joins need a lot more than a month to weather. He also insists installing a frame is not necessary. He is refusing to make good as he maintains he’s done a good job. I’ve had two other artificial grass specialists tell me the job is terrible and the only way to make good is to lay a new lawn with a frame.
As I’m getting no joy with the fitter, if I was to make a claim through the small claims court do I stand a chance of being successful?
