Report claims Spurs have offered star a new four-year deal worth £5.25m a year
If reports are to be believed, it appears that Tottenham and Daniel Levy may have made one final last-ditch attempt to get Christian Eriksen to sign a new contract.
AS have reported that Spurs have now offered the Great Dane a new four-year contract which would see him paid £5.25m per year.
This comes as Christian Eriksen’s contract runs out at the end of the season, meaning that he could leave on a free in the summer of 2020 if he desires.
The playmaker will be free to talk to non-English clubs in January about a pre-contract agreement and could yet be sold by the North London club in the winter window.
However, this new contract offer would imply that Spurs would rather keep their hands on their creative midfielder.
