Power outage impacts more than 1,700 customers in West Oakland
OAKLAND — A power outage in West Oakland Tuesday afternoon impacted more than 1,700 PG&E customers, authorities said.
The outage was reported about 1:16 p.m. Tuesday after a vehicle hit and a power pole and impacted the electrical wire in the area of Fifth and Adeline streets, officials said.
PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said at least 1,734 of its customers were impacted at the peak of the outage but all power was restored at 2:31 p.m.
Power was generally out along Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh streets and from Adeline Street to near Broadway.
