Amid reports of how private recyclers are slyly bringing plastic waste into the country in the form of PET flakes and lumps, the Centre has further tightened the rule by bringing clarity in the import ban order which will be applicable for plastic waste in all forms. The move will help control plastic pollution as recyclers won't be able to import plastic waste.
