Making money on the side

I have recently had my first child so I am also now recently skint. My wife is on maternity now so she is getting the statutory £124 a month or whatever it is, so we basically have no money once our mortgage, bills and food have been paid for.

I have been looking for ideas to make money on the side with minimal fuss. I was wondering if there is anything you guys do that works to make a bit of cash in hand away from your day job?
