Cop ‘sodomized woman after inviting her and her wife into his hot tub’
A sheriff’s deputy sodomized a woman after inviting her and her wife into his hot tub, police say.
Jeffrey Lamar reportedly threw the woman onto a sofa and attacked her after meeting her and her wife at a karaoke bar in Houston, Texas, on August 30.
Lamar and his wife are said to have got chatting to his alleged victim and her wife there, before drinking and singing songs together.
The woman and her wife then offered to take the Lamars’ home, and were invited inside for a drink when they got there.
Lamar, Chief Deputy at Harris County Precinct 8, is then accused of inviting the woman and her wife into his hot tub, at which point he is said to have begun rubbing her thigh.

She added that the alleged sex attack took place moments later, that it was not consensual, and that it left her in pain.
Afterwards, the woman took herself to a hospital, where doctors performed a sex assault exam, KTRK reported.
Lamar’s phone is said to have been seized amid claims it contains evidence of the alleged attack.
He has been placed on leave from his job, but has not been charged with any crime.
Houston Police Department say their investigation into the alleged sex attack continues.
