One Direction star Niall Horan secretly records duet with Lewis Capaldi for his upcoming album
AS the biggest name in music of 2019, Lewis Capaldi must have a queue of people scrabbling to work with him.
But one man has beaten them to it, with Lewis revealing he has already secretly recorded a song with Niall Horan which he hopes will be on the ex-One Direction singer’s upcoming album.
Lewis, who on Wednesday won the Best Track gong at the Q Awards for No1 hit Someone You Loved, said: “We did do a song together. I love it.
“It’s very good. But I would say that because I want him to release it because I like the money.
“We were in London with the same guys I wrote Someone You Loved with, because they also wrote one of the songs on Niall’s first record and stuff with One Direction.”
Speaking on US radio, he added: “It’s a good song. I don’t know if it will come out, I hope it will. I really, really need the money.”
While collecting his award, Lewis said: “Music isn’t a competition, but I f***ing won.”
During a break from his world tour, Lewis was at Wednesday’s bash at London’s Roundhouse where Stormzy won the Best Solo Act prize and The 1975 were crowned Best Act In The World Today.
If Lewis really does need the cash, hitting up those guests for a tune would help line his pocket.

Sad bunch
SOMEONE should have told the Q Awards guests they were meant to be celebrating the past 12 months of music, not mourning it.
Jarvis Cocker, Anne-Marie, Ella Eyre and Bobby Gillespie were among the celebs at the bash.
But with their dark outfits and downcast frowns, they looked more like they were attending a funeral.
Biffy Clyro, Suggs and Dizzee Rascal also turned out for the bash.
At least the free booze inside should have cheered them up.

Spices do a Dua
THE Spice Girls have hinted that their reunion may yet continue, after signing up with talent agency CAA, which already looks after Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.
The ray of hope comes after I revealed last week how the girls had abandoned discussions about an Australian tour and Las Vegas residency.
They are currently working on an animated film, but any other activity featuring Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie C has yet to be announced.
