Woman Found Dead at 'Tarzan' Star Ron Ely's Residence

A woman has been found dead at Ron Ely‘s residence, NBC News reports.

Deputies found the body of an older woman at the 81-year-old Tarzan actor’s home around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday night (October 15) in the Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara County, Calif.

Deputies were responding to a family disturbance call, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Lt. Erik Raney said.

Deputies reportedly searched the vicinity, and a suspect was killed in a shooting on the property that involved at least one sheriff’s deputy.

Ron was not hurt in the incident, and neither were the officers, Lt. Raney said.

It is not known what kind of relationship, if any, Ron Ely had with either person.
