Duke’s Matthew Hurt On The Erving Award List
Promising young forward getting lots of early attention
The nominees for the 2020 Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award are out and Duke’s Matthew Hurt is on it.
We’re really keen to see him in a game situation because it sounds like he’s a bit unique.
Interesting side note about the list: former Virginia Tech star Chris Clarke is on it. He left Blacksburg somewhat mysteriously after being suspended for all of last season, something that was never publicly explained. We’ll be interested to see what he offers this season and just how motivated he is after whatever happened to him at Virginia Tech.
