Union boss criticises Labor on trade deals

The boss of Australia's biggest union is criticising Labor for backing three free-trade deals, claiming it will drive a wedge between the party and the union movement.

CFMMEU Leader Michael O'Connor has accused the party of abandoning its foundations by supporting the Indonesian, Hong Kong and Peru agreements.

Labor endorsed the deals at a special caucus meeting on Thursday.
