Jeremy Corbyn blasts Boris Johnson’s new Brexit deal and says Labour won’t back it BEFORE he’s even read all of it
JEREMY Corbyn last night declared Labour will not back the new Brexit deal – without bothering to read all of it.
The Labour boss blasted Boris Johnson’s plan and warned it risks triggering a “race to the bottom” for workers’ rights.
But he admitted that he had not even read the full Brexit blueprint before dismissing it.
Speaking in Brussels yesterday, he stormed: “From what we have read of this deal it doesn’t meet our demands or expectations.
“It creates a border down the Irish Sea between Britain and Northern Ireland and it leads once again to a race to the bottom in terms of rights and protections for British citizens.”
He added: “From what we know, it seems the Prime Minister has negotiated an even worse deal than Theresa May’s, which was overwhelmingly rejected.”
DESPERATE FOR DEFEAT
It came as Labour ducked out of tabling an amendment to force a vote on a second referendum in Saturday’s crunch Commons showdown.
The Labour leader had been expected to back a move amid massive pressure from his backbenchers.

But the dithering boss has delayed the decision as he is desperate for Boris’ deal to be defeated unamended.
Meanwhile, Boris is tomorrow set to unveil a bumper worker’s right package as he desperately tries to woo Labour MPs to back his deal.
