Boy, 8, and sister, 4, both found fatally hanged ‘after he was bullied at school’
An eight-year-old boy and his four-year-old sister were found fatally hanged after the boy complained of being bullied at school.
Conner Snyder had reportedly said he was bullied and ‘made threats of doing this, but didn’t want to go alone,’ according to 911 dispatch recordings obtained by The Morning Call.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of his sister Brinley Snyder.
The youngsters were found dead in the basement of their home in Berks County, Pennsylvania on September 23.
They were rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, but died three days later.
Ppolice have yet to comment on the circumstances surrounding the double tragedy.
Prosecutor John Adams said he would not comment on the 911 recording. The children’s mother, Lisa Snyder, also said she was ‘not ready to make any comments,’ but changed per Facebook profile picture to a photo with with the phrase, ‘Words scar, rumors destroy, bullies kill.’
The dispatcher who handled the call categorized it as pediatric cardiac arrest with two patients.’
In the recording, the fire captain can be heard asking the dispatcher: ‘Any indication from the caller if the scene is safe or how these children ended up there.’

Investigators seized a cellphone, two iPads, a laptop, and an Xbox gaming console, among other items that may provide insight into the deaths.
The Lehigh County coroner has not ruled on a manner or cause of deaths, which is still contingent on further testing, medical records, and a police investigation.

‘Normally, people only have one cellphone and now we have three,’ Prosecutor John Adams said.
