[Men's Soccer] Burger's Early Goal not Enough for Hawks

FULLERTON, Calif. – Guillermo Burger scored a goal in the first four minutes against Hope International on Saturday.

But the Hawks were unable to keep their lead or add to it as they fell to the Royals 4-1.

The Hawks fall to 1-5 in conference play and 5-9 on the season.

Burger's goal came from deep for the 1-0 lead.

HIU scored a goal in the 40th minute to tie the game after the first 45 minutes. They added three goals in the second half to secure the win.

SDC will host Westmont College on Saturday at Grossmont College at noon.
