Whenever you consider who Liverpool’s most important player is the names that naturally spring to mind are Alisson, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.

You could even make a case for Joel Matip given Dejan Lovren’s struggles against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, while the two full backs are pretty damn good choices, as well.
