Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron and Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart lead the glam at Governors Awards
HOLLYWOOD stars glittered in a series of dazzling outfits for the Governors Awards Gala in Los Angeles, with Jennifer Lopez stealing the limelight in a glowing gold frock.
The popstar and actress was the epitome of sophisticated styling in her bandeau A-line gown, made from a sheer fabric which gathered on the floor in a flattering pool by her feet.
J-Lo scraped back her brunette hair in a plaited bun and added silver jewellery for an extra splash of understated glam.
Riverdale beauty Lily Reinhart, 23, favoured a yellow dress with a flattering neckline, and a single sleeve which wrapped around her left shoulder.
A split up the front gave a flash of leg and revealed the Netflix star had chosen to colour match her shoes.
She gave the waiting cameras a splash of sass as she posed with her hand on her hip before bursting into giggles for further poses.
Scarlett Johansson also gave a nod to the golden, metallic trend at the 11th gala of its kind, held at the Dolby Theatre, with a sparkling asymmetric top part of her dress and a black flowing skirt.
She swirled around as she posed on the red carpet giving a glimpse of the backless aspect of her gown, with only a gold panel running from her left shoulder to right hip.
It also served to reveal her vast floral tattoo spanning the majority of her back.
Charlize Theron plumped for trusty, Chanel-esq monochrome styling for the event held at the same venue as the iconic Oscars.
She wore a clingy black top tucked into an eye-popping, bright white skirt.
She too followed the up-trend with her hair, leaving just the fringe straight and down.
Dakota Johnson channelled her dramatic skirt vibe, with a similar garment, this time paired with a matching white crop top.
Many famous faces opted for classic LBD styling at the gala, hosted by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences.
