[Men's Soccer] Point Closes their Season with a Win

West Point, Ga.—Point University Men's Soccer team hosted second place Union College for their final match of the season. After a scoreless first half, the lone goal of the game was scored by Martin Wainstein (FR/Buenos Aires, Argentina) as he found the back of the net at the 75th minute mark with an assist by Lorenzo Delvecchio (SO/Cesena, Italy). This would be the only goal the Skyhawks would need, winning by the score of 1-0. Point ends their year with a disappointing 5-8-3 overall and a 3-6-2 record in the conference. The Skyhawks missed the playoffs this year after winning the AAC regular season last year.
