[Women's Soccer] Lady Skyhawks Senior Day Ends in a Loss

West Point, Ga.—The Lady Skyhawks hosted the Lady Bulldogs from Union College in their last AAC regular season match where Point honored their 8 seniors. The Bulldogs scored early at the 10 minute mark, leading most of the match 1-0. Both teams battled searching the rest of the first half trying to score but neither was successful. At the 60 minute mark, Union found the back of the net again increasing their lead to 2-0, Kiery Bonilla (SO/Winder, Ga.) then cut the lead in half just 8 minutes later. The Skyhawks had 12 shots throughout the second half trying to even up the score and came close in the last 22 seconds of the match. A pass from Sabria Marquez (SR/Savannah, Ga.) to Kelly Carlisle (SO/LaGrange, Ga.) just went shy of the net, just before the horn sounded.
