Nation’s Report Card shows scores drop, with increasing disparities between highest and lowest achievers

Results on The Nation’s Report Card, a national exam, showed scores dropped in nearly all categories, with growing disparities between the highest and lower achievers.

The tests are administered every-other-year in reading and math, to fourth- and eighth-graders.
