Macron crisis: More than half of French people ‘disappointed’ by French President – poll
NEARLY two-thirds of French people hold a dim view of President Emmanuel Macron, a poll showed on Wednesday, accusing him of doing little to improve their quality of life in his first two years in office. The poll, conducted by the French news channel BFMTV, showed that 62 percent of French people see his election in May 2017 as a “negative” event, compared with 37 percent who said it had been a “good thing” for France.
