The 6 movies coming to HBO in November that are worth your time
Warner Bros.
Get ready for two of the most popular movies of early 2019 coming to HBO (and HBO Go, HBO Now): Jordan Peele's "Us" and the DC Comics hit "Shazam!"
But they won't be available until the end of November, so until then, watch some classics like Ben Affleck's heist movie "The Town," Kevin Costner playing an aged pitching trying to throw a perfect game in "For Love of the Game," and Tom Hanks becoming a man child in "Big."
Here are six movies to check out on HBO this month:
"Blindspotting" (Available November 1)
LionsgateThis acclaimed indie is one of the most unique stories to come to the screen in the last few years. Screenwriters Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs also star as two men living in Oakland who are trying to deal with the gentrification of their community and the reevaluation of Diggs' character's life while on probation. At times a comedy, other times a rap freestyle, this is a special movie.
"Big" (Available November 1)
FoxThis classic Tom Hanks movie is perfect for a chilly November day when you need a little pick-me-up.
"For Love of the Game" (Available November 1)
UniversalKevin Costner is the king of sports movies, and though this isn't one that comes instantly to mind, do not sleep on it. Costner is perfect here as an aging pitcher who looks back on his career as he attempts to pitch a perfect game.
