[Men's Soccer] ONU Men's Soccer Ends Regular Season with a Win
Bourbonnais, Ill. – The Tigers were able to come away from today's game against Trinity Christian College with a crucial win, which propels them into the conference tournament with some momentum. Everything seemed to go the Tigers way early on in the game, scoring two goals rather quickly. The first was in the sixth minute of the game when the Trinity keeper deflected a shot by Rodrigo Munoz (JR/Kankakee, Ill.) and the ball fell to Daniel Kassagoma (JR/Kampala, Uganda) who put it away. Then only three minutes later, Munoz netted a goal of his own with an assist from defender Nathan Lauvina (SR/Bourbonnais, Ill.). However, Trinity responded later in the first half with a goal in the 38th minute and another in the 40th. This pushed the game into halftime all tied up.
