Paddles in Hold Luggage
There is going to be an Ally 16DR in my life.
(sometime in the new year... given a fair wind and favourable finances)
The idea is to fly with it and do Scandi trips and so on. The packed Ally fits easily into standard hold luggage dimensions. It's finding appropriate paddles that's got me wondering.
Something that is less than 42" (107cm), when collapsed (telescoped, whatever) would be good. That's the length on the long side of the packed Ally.
One option I've found is the Sevylor KC-Compact215 Paddle,
It's in the ballpark, with a travel length of 115cm.
Was wondering if there was something closer to the mark?
The telescoping ones either seem to be massive SUP paddles or little emergency ones about a metre long.
