Egyptian Armed Forces announces the elimination of more than 80 militants in the Sinai

The Egyptian military during a series of special operations on the Sinai Peninsula destroyed 83 militants of extremist groups, the Egyptian Armed Forces said in a statement on its official Facebook page.

“83 terrorists were destroyed during operations to clean up the Sinai Peninsula”, – the statement said.

The military said that dozens of weapons and ammunition had been seized, several explosive devices were neutralized, and extremist refugees were found and eliminated.
