Only sand and salt to be used directly on Edmonton roads this winter but calcium chloride still in mix

This season, the city will use plows and graders, along with salt and sand to clear the roadways. Calcium chloride will still be used on sidewalks, bike lanes, paths, and in a pre-mix.
