Richard Madden and Angelina Jolie forced to evacuate the set of The Eternals after unexploded bomb

ANGELINA Jolie and Richard Madden were evacuated from a film set after the discovery of an unexploded bomb.

Shocked cast and crew were hauled away as disposal experts were called in.

Onlookers in Canary Island Fuerteventura told how panic quickly spread during shooting of The Eternals and everyone was ordered back to a safe distance.

An insider at the set said: “It was obviously terrifying — the bomb could have been there for decades untouched but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed.

“Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances. Fortunately, experts dealt with it.”

The Nazis had a base on the Spanish island in World War Two and it is likely the explosive dates from that period.

Jolie, 44, and Brit Bodyguard TV hunk Madden, 33, play leaders Thena and Ikaris in the Marvel superhero flick.

His Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington, 32, is also in next year’s release.
