Uber beats third-quarter revenue estimates

Total revenue rose nearly 30% to $3.81 billion (£2.95 billion), beating analysts' average estimate of $3.69 billion, according to IBES data from Refinitiv. Uber's costs jumped about 33% to $4.92 billion in the reported quarter
