STERLING, Kan. -- Through two sets on Saturday, Avila held its own against Sterling, but Annie Connor caught fire for the Lady Warriors, as the Eagles dropped a 3-0 (28-26, 26-24, 25-13) result. D'Ovion Williams (8 kills) and Kate Warren (7 kills) led a balanced AU offense on the night.
