[Football] West Tackles Appalachian Defensive Player of the Week Honors

COLUMBIA, Ky. – St. Andrews' (N.C.) Darius West, Bluefield's (Va.) Aiden Wilder and Point's (Ga.) William Aldridge are the Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division Football Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

MSC Appalachian Defensive Player of the Week
Darius West - St. Andrews (N.C.) - Jr. - Defensive Lineman - Jacksonville, Fla.
§ West totaled eight tackles in the Knights 70-54 win over Bluefield (Va.).
§ He had five solo tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss in the game.
§ West added 3.5 sacks in the win as well.
§ He earns his weekly honors for the first time in his career
MSC Appalachian Offensive Player of the Week
Aiden Wilder - Bluefield (Va.) – Sr. – Quarterback – Portland, Ore.
§ Wilder threw for a school-record 456 yards in the Rams loss to St. Andrews (N.C.).
§ He also added 48 yards rushing to total a school-record 504 total yards in a game.
§ Wilder totaled six touchdowns on the day with five of them being in the air.
§ He earns weekly honors for the first time in his career.
MSC Appalachian Special Teams Player of the Week
William Aldridge – Point (Ga.) – Fr. – Kicker/Punter – Kennesaw, Ga.
§ Aldridge had three punts totaling 125 yards in Point's 27-12 victory over Kentucky Christian
§ His longest punt went for 48 yards in the win.
§ Aldridge earns weekly honors for the second time this season and of his career.
